The confirmed rooftop design belongs to 2025
Badaap Terrace’s 2025 Christmas display used a rabbit-and-carrot-field concept, pairing the outdoor tree with carrot baskets, white cushions, checked blankets and straw hats. It is a 2025 design, not an announced 2026 theme; a new-season display span had not been established as of October 22, 2026.
The attraction is a coastal café and rooftop photographs, not a large market or scheduled light show. Check our Incheon Airport accommodation guide to decide whether you will already be staying on Yeongjong Island, then give the visit an unhurried afternoon rather than making it an ambitious detour between flights.
Find the fifth-floor café, not a similarly named business
Badaap Terrace is on the fifth floor of The Terrace Plaza, 10 Eunhasu-ro: 바다앞테라스, 은하수로10,5층. Badaap Farm is on the second floor and Badaap Table on the fourth. Similar names do not make their menus, seating or visitor rules interchangeable.
Check the lift directory and actual café name before following signs toward an outdoor area. Ask which seating and rooftop sections are open that day. A fifth-floor address does not establish a step-free route from the street to every upper-level photo position. If traveling with a stroller or wheelchair, check where the lift reaches before arrival rather than discovering that the desired viewpoint is unsuitable for someone in your group.
| Question | Visitor essentials | Keep separate |
|---|---|---|
| Seasonal design | Rabbit/carrot-field concept in 2025 | Not a 2026 announcement |
| Floor | Fifth floor, The Terrace Plaza | Other named businesses downstairs |
| Ordinary hours | Sun–Fri 09:00–21:00; Sat 09:00–22:00 | Rooftop and last orders may differ |
| Destination | 10 Eunhasu-ro near Gueup waterfront | Not a terminal-side walk |
Use daylight for the coast and darkness for decorations
The windowed café and outdoor setting lend themselves to two stages: a sea view while natural light remains, followed by a short visit to illuminated decorations if they are operating. Arrive, find a seat and order before deciding how long to remain outside. Adjust this plan to the day’s actual lighting and weather.
A seaside rooftop is more exposed than an indoor table. Avoid letting a drink go cold while waiting for a photograph, and supervise children near railings. The 2025 version included strawberry bakery items and festive drinks, but seasonal availability and prices can change. Read the current menu rather than treating a dessert arrangement in an old image as a guaranteed package.
Ordinary café hours do not guarantee rooftop hours
The ordinary business information dated October 22, 2026 gives 09:00–21:00 from Sunday through Friday and 09:00–22:00 on Saturday, with contact number 032-747-0137. These are ordinary business details, not confirmation that the 2026 Christmas rooftop follows identical hours or that ordering remains possible until closing. Current operator listing
This is a trading café, not an unrestricted public Christmas square. Ask about minimum spend, any rooftop charge, photo queues and seating requirements, and respect customers already using tables. If your aim is a quick public-tree stop without a café visit, Yeongjong Sky City’s Starlight Square may fit better than occupying a dining space mainly as a photo prop.
Navigate to Gueup Ferry Terminal’s neighbourhood, not the airport
Save the full café name and 10 Eunhasu-ro as your destination. The setting is the Gueup waterfront, not a few minutes on foot outside an airport terminal. Allow for a local bus or taxi connection after reaching the island by air or rail. Use Korean map apps from your actual starting point; a taxi drops you at the building, not the rooftop.
Incheon tourism’s September 2026 ferry information gives an approximately fifteen-minute crossing from Wolmido and a winter operating window of 08:00–17:30. Confirm the actual sailing with the operator rather than assuming a return remains available after nighttime photographs. Waterfront and ferry information. If flying later, our Incheon layover guide helps frame the decision, but airport return, check-in and security time must take priority over the café’s closing time.
An optional Christmas craft needs a separate booking
In December 2025, the separate OZ Workshop offered fragrance, diffuser and scented-wreath classes, priced then at ₩55,000–60,000 with advance Naver booking. This was a different business, not an included Badaap Terrace activity or a confirmed 2026 offer.
Before adding a class, check teaching language, available slots and whether the finished item can be carried away immediately. Do not improvise it during a short airport connection. A waterfront walk and coffee can be a complete afternoon without another purchase. Prepare Korean mobile data and save a return transport point beforehand, so the visit ends with a manageable journey rather than only a good photograph.
